If you’re inspired by the creative arts, humanities or social sciences, VU has an arts course designed to develop your passions, and kick-start your career. We offer on-the-job learning for students through a wide range of industry partners including Malthouse Theatre, Penguin Books, Beat Media, ABC, Channel 10, SBS, St Vincent de Paul, and the Parliament of Victoria.

PRACTICAL EDGE

Our students are able to stand out from their competitors with real-world experience before they graduate through playing a key role in the cultural and educational enrichment of the region through our partnerships with: Footscray Community Arts Centre, VU at MetroWest, Williamstown Literary Festival, Setting Sun Film Festival, Footscray Arts Prize and West Projections Festival 2017.

Our study ‘pathways’ connect courses between TAFE and university undergraduate and postgraduate courses, giving you more flexible and accessible opportunities for learning.

  • 22317VIC Certificate IV in Liberal Arts

  • AABAB Bachelor of Arts

  • ARXL Master of Arts (Research)

Graduates of our Certificate IV in Liberal Arts can pathway directly into a Bachelor of Arts with half a semester of credit.
